Today, the MS had their 3rd quarter L.I.P. incentive. It was a blast watching all our students and teachers playing the games together! Congratulations to all our students who earned the reward!

Breaking the digital norm! Today marked our inaugural IBHS Unplugged Day, where teachers and students embraced a tech-free day. From vibrant classroom discussions to collaborative team-based learning, we ditched the screens and prioritized meaningful connections. It was a refreshing break from the screens and allowed everyone to focus on each other and strengthen the bonds within our school community! #ibtigerpride

It was an exciting morning at IBES-- The high school girls' basketball team greeted our students by giving high fives; our little tigers were beyond excited about this opportunity and certainly think the world of these ladies for their hard work and success this season! #ibtigerpride

Congratulations to Mrs. Burke's 2nd grade class for winning our Tiger Tales reading trophy for February! The IBES staff is so proud of all of our students who worked hard to meet their reading goals this month! #ibtigerpride

Congratulations to our IBMS 8th-grade tigers! They are regional volleyball champs. They will play Monday at Washington Middle School with a chance to go to state! Also, congratulations to McKenna Yearin on being named IB's sportsmanship player of the game. #ibtigerpride 🐯 💪

Great job, Illini Bluffs Band students! At tonight's 6th-12th grade concert, the jazz ensemble, 6th-grade band, 7th & 8th grade band, and high school band all performed and sounded great! Today, the IBMS ELA teachers kicked off their first annual Book Chats in the MS/HS Library! One of the goals of the middle school is to encourage students to become lifelong readers, and one way to do that is to have students read a novel each quarter and share that novel with other students. #ibtigerpride

IBHS Students - We are trying to get enough students signed up to take a fan bus for tomorrow's Boys Basketball Super-Sectional Game in Jacksonville. The game is at 7:00 PM. Students interested in riding the fan bus must complete the Google form emailed out by Mr. Almasi by 7:30 PM tonight, Sunday, March 3, 2024. We will leave school at approximately 4:45 PM and return after the 7:00 PM game. Students riding the fan bus must purchase tickets through the GO Fan app. We need to have at least 20 students signed up to take the fan bus, and we are not charging students to ride the bus. Mr. Almasi will email students at 8:00 PM tonight, March 3, 2024, if we have enough students signed up. Go Tigers, and email Mr. Almasi for any questions!

The Illini Bluffs Girls Basketball team is the IHSA 1A State Runner-Up!!! We will be having a reception at 3:00 PM in the High School gym with a fire truck escort from the Legion starting at 2:45 PM. Congratulations to the girls basketball team on a great season and 2nd place!

We are planning a reception for our girls basketball team upon their return from the state championship. We will update times as the day progresses but tentatively set between 2:15-2:30
