34th Annual Senior Citizen Luncheon! Thank you to everyone who joined us for our 34th Annual Senior Citizen Luncheon. It was wonderful to see our community come together for the annual event. A sincere thank you to our students and staff for the tremendous work that made this event possible. From the student performances and delicious food to the outstanding service provided by our Middle School Student Council servers, this luncheon truly reflected a team effort. We are grateful for the care, pride, and dedication shown by everyone involved. Events like this highlight the strong sense of community that makes Illini Bluffs such a special place. #ibtigerpride

Thank you to the IBHS basketball team, our students, and community members for coming together this morning to pack more than 110 food baskets for Illini Bluffs families. A big thank you to the IB Christmas Hope Organization for coordinating this event and making a meaningful difference for families in our community. We are truly grateful to be part of such a caring community! #ibtigerpride

Due to the predicted inclement weather, the high school girls’ basketball games for the United Holiday Tournament tomorrow, 12/13, have been canceled.

This morning we celebrated our 7th grade girls basketball team and their outstanding 4th place finish at state with a gym celebration alongside students and families. We could not be more proud of this group, the incredible season they had, and the effort they showed all year. Thank you to Coach Sweet, Coach Parker, and every member of the 7th grade girls basketball team for your hard work and dedication. We are so proud of you. #ibtigerpride 🐯

Your Illini Bluffs MS 7th-grade girls basketball team is the IESA 2A 4th Place Finisher. Congratulations again to our athletes and coaches on a season to remember! We would also like to congratulate Mia Hahn on being our sportsmanship player for the game. To celebrate, tomorrow morning, we will have a fire truck escort starting at the Timber-Hollis Fire Department at 8:10 am, followed by a reception at 8:15 am at the middle school gym for our basketball team. Again, congratulations to the team on an incredible season, and we are so proud of all you have accomplished!

Today we had a state send-off for our 7th-grade girls as they get ready to play their third-place game at Riverton Community High School tonight at 6 P.M. Best of luck, ladies! #ibtigerpride 🐯

Tonight’s high school girls’ basketball game against South Fulton has been canceled due to impending weather conditions. There will be no after-school practice.

The IBHS Jazz Band, Choir, and Concert Band sounded beautiful tonight! Great job to our talented musicians and dedicated directors, Mr. Seymour and Mr. Ganschow! #ibtigerpride

Back to back state bound teams at IBMS. Our eighth grade girls are sectional champions after an amazing performance tonight. They earned their spot in the Elite Eight, and we cannot be more proud of this group and all they have accomplished this season. They will play at Havana Junior High School on Saturday at 2.30 P.M. for their first game. We hope to see you there to cheer on our Tigers. Great job to Addi Bleichner for being selected as our sportsmanship player of the game. #ibtigerpride 🐯

Outstanding job to everybody that played a role in the first night of the IBHS Madrigal Dinner! The performance from the students was fantastic! A big shout out to Mr. Ganschow for preparing such a wonderful show! The food was delicious! Thank you Mr. Murphy and your team for preparing such a good meal. The servers did a great job as well! Thank you to all of the attendees! Your support is greatly appreciated!

Our Tigers fought hard but fell short in the Final Four. This 7th-grade girls' basketball team now has the opportunity to compete for 3rd place on Thursday, December 11th, at 6 p.m. at Riverton Community High School. We hope to see everybody there one last time to cheer on our team. #ibtigerpride 🐯

Our Tiger Tales Readers of the Month and homeroom winners celebrated today! Mrs. Lox’s 3rd-grade class and Miss Alcaraz’s 2nd-grade class earned pizza parties for having the highest number of students who met their overall reading goals.

A big thank-you to the PTO for their continued financial support of this program and our staff, and families for encouraging our students to discover a love of reading through a little friendly competition!

We are overwhelmed with the generosity our community has shown our students during the Canned Food Drive. Today our NHS students delivered over 10,000 items to the American Legion thanks to the efforts of the Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, and Senior classes and their sponsors in conjunction with IB Christmas Hope. We'd like to give a special shout-out to senior, Lauren B. for leading the NHS in counting and delivery; she went above and beyond to ensure this year's drive was a success.

Congratulations to our 7th grade girls for punching their ticket to state. They showed incredible heart and resilience tonight by battling back from an 11 point deficit in the first half to win the game. They will compete in the first round of state at Riverton Community High School on Saturday at 10 A.M. We hope to see a strong crowd there to support our Tigers as they continue this amazing run. We would also like to congratulate Kinley Dunn for being selected as our player of the game. Her effort set the tone for our comeback! #ibtigerpride 🐯
