Extracurricular Activities: Decisions regarding extracurricular practices and activities scheduled for later today will be made once road conditions are reassessed.
Board of Education Meeting: The Board of Education meeting scheduled for tonight at 6:00 PM will proceed as planned.
As always, winter weather conditions can change quickly across our large rural district, and we appreciate your flexibility and understanding as we prioritize safe transportation for all students. Please stay safe and warm today. #ibtigerpride

Our 5th grade students had the opportunity to hear from Mrs. O’Neill as they wrapped up learning about the Holocaust in social studies. She shared her family’s personal connection to this important part of history, helping students gain a deeper understanding of the impact and importance of remembering these stories.
Thank you, Mrs. O’Neill, for taking the time to share such a meaningful and powerful learning experience with our students.

More learning fun at IBHS! Ms. Harmon's Ag Science class was doing a milk tasting lab as part of their dairy unit, Mrs. Strantz's Geometry class was making clinometers that they will use outside next week, and Ms. Sewell's English 11 class was preparing for the ACT test by discussing different question types. Great job students and teachers! #ibtigerpride

Congratulations to our tiger winners this week!

Mrs. Jatkowski’s Foods 2 class is diving into their Dairy Unit with a field trip to Linden Hill Farms and making ice cream using liquid nitrogen (LN₂). Students are discovering hands-on ways to connect agriculture, science, and food!

Our students and teachers have been working hard in the classrooms, and we are so proud of them! Mrs. Price had her students practice speaking Spanish by placing orders and acting as a server at a restaurant, Mrs. Roderick's dual credit English class was writing argumentative essay's that they will later create a presentation for, and students in PE completed their pacer test as part of fitness testing. It's a great day to be a tiger!

Mrs. Edwards’ 2nd grade class has been learning all about volcanoes and even following a live volcano online as part of their learning! Today brought a big surprise , the volcano erupted! What an amazing way to bring science to life and see learning happening right before their eyes!

Congratulations to the newest members of the National Honor Society! We are very proud of you for your hard work and dedication. Congratulations on this well-deserved accomplishment!
