Today was the first day of our beloved Santa Shop, and the excitement from our students was truly contagious! Students enjoyed shopping for their parents and guardians, and the joy on their faces said it all. A huge thank you to our generous parent donations and our PTO for continuing this cherished tradition. An extra shout-out to the many PTO volunteers who helped students shop and wrap gifts, your time and support make this special experience possible each year! 🎄🎁
Today’s winter writing activity in the library was a huge success!
Our middle school students in grades 6 through 8 collaborated across grade levels, giving older and younger students the chance to review one another’s writing, share feedback, and offer ideas to grow as writers. The collaboration was made even better with cookies and hot chocolate as we celebrate learning and head into winter break. We are proud of our students and staff for creating meaningful opportunities like this. IB Tiger Pride 🐯

34th Annual Senior Citizen Luncheon! Thank you to everyone who joined us for our 34th Annual Senior Citizen Luncheon. It was wonderful to see our community come together for the annual event. A sincere thank you to our students and staff for the tremendous work that made this event possible. From the student performances and delicious food to the outstanding service provided by our Middle School Student Council servers, this luncheon truly reflected a team effort. We are grateful for the care, pride, and dedication shown by everyone involved. Events like this highlight the strong sense of community that makes Illini Bluffs such a special place. #ibtigerpride
Thank you to the IBHS basketball team, our students, and community members for coming together this morning to pack more than 110 food baskets for Illini Bluffs families. A big thank you to the IB Christmas Hope Organization for coordinating this event and making a meaningful difference for families in our community. Due to the predicted inclement weather, the high school girls’ basketball games for the United Holiday Tournament tomorrow, 12/13, have been canceled.
This morning we celebrated our 7th grade girls basketball team and their outstanding 4th place finish at state with a gym celebration alongside students and families. We could not be more proud of this group, the incredible season they had, and the effort they showed all year. Thank you to Coach Sweet, Coach Parker, and every member of the 7th grade girls basketball team for your hard work and dedication. We are so proud of you.

Our eighth grade girls are sectional champions after an amazing performance tonight. They earned their spot in the Elite Eight, and we cannot be more proud of this group and all they have accomplished this season.
They will play at Havana Junior High School on Saturday at 2.30 P.M. for their first game. We hope to see you there to cheer on our Tigers.

Our Tigers fought hard but fell short in the Final Four. This 7th-grade girls' basketball team now has the opportunity to compete for 3rd place on Thursday, December 11th, at 6 p.m. at Riverton Community High School. We hope to see everybody there one last time to cheer on our team.
