The IBES kindergarteners along with our other grade levels are getting ready for the big day next week in PE! Students are practicing stacking cups in preparation for the World Sport Stacking day to break the world Guinness World Record for the “Most People Sport Stacking at Multiple Locations in One Day”


The Peoria Symphony Puppet Show presented the show, Peter and the Wolf today! This was a great opportunity for our students in grades PreK-5th!. #ibtigerpride

IBES 5th grade students met with Mrs. Stanley, Mrs. Resel, and Mrs. Craven to talk about taking a pledge against bullying. Students were very engaged! #ibtigerpride





2nd Quarter Community Hours are underway at IBHS! Mrs. Coulter and Ms. Heinz are SO EXCITED to host a room full of readers for Book Club! Students have enjoyed a "book tasting" event, crafted personalized bookmarks, created unboxing videos of our brand new books. #ibtigerpide

Community Hour students planting bulbs today. The project originated from a student presentation about the importance of bees in our ecosystem. From his issue, we created Connor's Color Crew and purchased over 2,000 pollinator bulbs to plant around the IB campus. #ibtigerpride





The preschool classes have been busy exploring and learning about the Rosenbohm farm, and collecting pine cones and leaves already this week! #ibtigers





The cast/crew have put together a fantastic show! Last chance to see “You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown” tomorrow, Sunday (10/24) at 2:00 in the IBHS Theater. #ibtigerpride


October 22nd is School Bus Driver Appreciation Day! We would like to thank all our drivers for everything they do to keep our students safe! #ibtigerpride


To commemorate the end of our first quarter Community Hour, students participated in a gallery walk. Displays featured a variety of student creations, a Disney themed "photo booth" experience, and a chess master challenge. Students taught each other how to sign their names using ASL, learned the basics of D&D, discussed what it means to be a mindful thrifter, and the whole high school was treated to a performance by this quarter's Improv group. New Community Hour courses begin today!

Congratulations again to our 3rd place IESA 2A State trophy winning IBMS softball team! The team was honored by the Board of Education at tonight’s meeting. Great season lady tigers! #ibtigerpride


The afternoon bright future while outside playing today had a great opportunity to view in person a combine harvesting soybeans thanks to Mr. Pille. What a perfect timing during their farm unit! #ibtigerpride


Today, the IBES students had an opportunity to preview the the IBHS Fall Musical, "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown." Students loved this experience, from Preschoolers to 5th graders! The performers did an excellent job and are very talented. The show is this weekend on Friday & Saturday at 7:30 PM, and Sunday at 2 PM at IBHS. #ibtgerpride



In Mr. Wirth’s Improv Community Hour, learning is active, noisy and often hilarious as students sharpen their Improv skills. Daily games and challenges are opportunities to develop leadership skills, practice teamwork, and build confidence. As time with our first quarter Community Hours is coming to an end, students in Mr. Wirth's Improv class expressed that the most memorable part of this class has been developing friendships with new people and finding a space where they can be their best selves. #ibtigerpride
