The IBHS Cheerleading Team is IHSA Statebound! The Tigers earned 5th place at today’s Sectional and will compete at Grossinger Motors Arena in Bloomington-Normal on Friday. We hope to see the Tiger faithful coming out to support the team! #ibtigerpride

Mr. Bricker goes above and beyond to promote wellness at Illini Bluffs! Not only does he keep our students active and engaged during PE, but he also encourages staff to join the fun on Workout Wednesdays! Staff can participate in exciting activities with the PE classes across the district and even have a chance to win a prize when they do!
Today, our elementary students kicked things off with popsicle races for warm-ups before learning the basics of floor hockey. It's always a great day to stay active and have fun together, and our kids LOVE it when staff join them for the fun! 🏃♀️🏃♂️✨ #ibtigerpride

Mrs. Alvey and Miss Alcaraz's first-grade classrooms had an exciting time using the Prewriting Pinch Card learning engagement strategy! ✏️✨ This hands-on activity sparked creativity and helped our young learners organize their thoughts before diving into writing. It was wonderful to see the students actively participating and having fun while building foundational writing skills. Great job, first graders! 👏📚
🎤🍫 Miss Powers' 5th-grade writing classes took on the ultimate debate: Should chocolate milk be served at school? Using the RACE writing strategy to support their arguments with evidence, students presented their cases to a jury and judge who made the final decision.
