Great job Alexandra Bleichner and Gauge Snyder for representing Illini Bluffs Elementary School at the Student Recognition Breakfast this morning. It was an honor to recognize both of these excellent 5th grade students at the Central Illinois Valley Region of the Illinois Principals Association breakfast. Both students were recognized for being great all around students! Keep up the great work!

The Creative Communications Community Hour visited The Coffee Can in Hanna City and Alpha Park Public Library to explore how innovative small business and dedicated public institutions both serve and build stronger communities. We also celebrated our time spent together this quarter writing and sharing stories, reading new books, creating podcasts, and publishing a newspaper! Miss Rosenbohm’s class kicked off their pet unit with a visit from some furry friends. The dogs were brought in by Grafelman Farms, a local foster organization. This sure did get the kids excited to learn about pets! #ibtigerpride

IBES students welcomed Easterseals Representatives the past two days for a fun assembly about ability awareness! The presenter met with each grade level to help spread and foster kindness among our student body. The presenter educated students about how everyone has different abilities, and encouraged students to self-reflect on their own amazing abilities! #ibtigerpride

Mrs. Edmonds and the "Pay It Forward" Community Hour students provided valuable community service this week. Partnering with Salvation Army staff, our students helped construct enough food baskets to feed over 200 people in the greater Peoria area. #ibtigerpride @salarmypeoria
Ms. Resel took students to ICC North for the annual Health Careers Experience. The event helps expose students to various aspects of the health care industry. #ibtigerpride
