The IBHS Interact Club is a service-based organization sponsored by the Downtown Peoria Rotary. It provides students with meaningful service projects that boost their volunteer and professional portfolio. This fall, we have chosen the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Illinois as our charity of focus. RMHC is a home away from home for families with children staying at the Children's Hospital. They are provided with a place to sleep and eat without charge. We have hosted two Float Fridays (selling root beer floats for $1) and raised $200 so far. We hope to raise a grand total of $1,000 by December. In addition to Float Fridays, we are collecting travel-size toiletries, cleaning supplies, and paper goods to donate this fall. Starting today and through October 13, you can drop off your donation in the HS office or purchase something off our Amazon Wishlist. Contact Ms. Gorsuch (bgorsuch@ib327.com) if you have any questions.
