IBHS Volleyball advances to the Sectional Championship!! The Tigers beat Wethersfield tonight and will play at Princeville on Wednesday night at 6:00 PM. Come out and support the Tigers! #ibtigerpride

Mrs. Roberts' 4th grade class and Mr. Hallstrom's High School Illustration class teamed up paint pumpkins today! So thankful our students can team up and participate in these types of activities! #ibtigerpride

The Hollis aftercare students had fun learning to prepare and plant garlic this week with Mr. Geiger in the Illini Bluffs Community Garden. It was not only fun but the students learned a great deal of information about the process. #ibtigerpride

Today Kindergarteners and first graders had their turn to meet with Mrs. Stanley and Mrs. Craven to learn about how to be a buddy and not a bully. The early elementary students did a great job participating in the lesson and are working hard to be kind IBES tigers #ibtigerpride
Today, the IBES welcomed the Peoria Symphony Puppet Show. They presented the show Peter and the Wolf. The show is used to foster music appreciation for elementary students and introduces classical music in a fundamental way for our students, the students loved it #ibtigerpride
This month is anti-bullying month, Mrs. Stanley and Mrs. Craven are meeting with all of the IBES students to talk about what bullying is, the different types of bullying, and how to be a good buddy. Students have been doing great participating in the assemblies, we are very proud of our IBES students!
The IBHS Interact Club would like to thank everyone who donated to the Ronald McDonald House Supply Drive! On Sunday morning, Ms. Gorsuch and the students delivered the donations and volunteered their time at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Illinois. The Interact Club cooked brunch, assisted with basic chores, and prepped goodie bags for Halloween. #ibtigerpride
Mrs. Coulter's "I'm With The Banned" Community Hour celebrated their last day together with a trip to Tails of a Bookworm in Pekin, a non-profit bookstore that raises money for local animal shelters and provides a space for adoptable rescues waiting for their "fur-ever" homes. We're excited for our IBHS students to start their 2nd quarter Community Hours today!
