📚✨ Mrs. Sellers’ 8th grade ELA class is diving into Native American heritage through reading and discussion! To inspire even more curiosity, she’s provided a collection of additional books for students to explore! What a great way to celebrate and learn about different cultures! 🧡🖤 #ibtigerpride 🐯

🔹 5th grade is learning all about volume and using formulas with the help of hands-on manipulatives.
🔹 4th grade is building strong number sense by working on place value and comparing numbers.

🎨 Art class is officially underway at IBES! Our students are excited to dive into a creative year ahead. This week, they’ve been learning what art will look like throughout the year and kicked things off with a fun Art Bingo icebreaker to explore the different tools they’ll be using. 🖌️✨

Our soccer team is starting the year off as Pekin Tournament Champions! This is the first time IB has brought home this tournament win with a 3-0 record. Congrats to all the players and coaches!
The Illini Bluffs Girls’ Swim Team competed in their first coop home meet today at Pekin! 🏊♀️ The girls swam great, and we couldn’t be more proud of their effort and teamwork. We are so excited for this new opportunity through our swim coop and look forward to a great season ahead! Great job team!
Today was our annual Teacher Institute Safety Day at Illini Bluffs! A huge thank you to our incredible staff for going the extra mile every day to ensure the safety of our students. Your commitment makes all the difference! We also extend a special thank you to Glasford Methodist Church and Glasford Baptist Church for serving as our reunification sites and supporting our district in keeping students safe. #IBTigerPride

IBHS Student Council put on a great Back to School Bash! A big thank you to everybody who helped organize and set this event up! The students had a blast!
What an exciting day in Mr. Bricker's kindergarten PE class! 🌟 The kids were full of energy as they dribbled soccer balls through a "forest," trying to outsmart the "monster" and keep their soccer balls safe! ⚽️🏃♀️ It was amazing to see their enthusiasm as they were active and learning a new skill!
Miss Rosenbohm's preschoolers had a fantastic time with Mrs. Jatkowski's high school parenting class! It's wonderful to see our IB students interacting with the little ones. What a great learning experience for ALL of our students!
