Calling all girls entering 3rd–8th grade for the 2026–2027 school year! Join the IBHS Girls Basketball team and coaches for four days of skill-building, teamwork, competition, and FUN at the Illini Bluffs Elementary School Gym!

Participants will work on basketball fundamentals, improve their skills, build confidence, and have a great time learning from our Lady Tigers program! 🧡🖤

💲Cost: $50 per player
👕 Registration and payment must be completed by May 25th to guarantee a camp t-shirt.

⚾ Workout Wednesday was a hit with our 3rd graders today! Students worked hard while practicing important skills such as swinging a bat, hand-eye coordination, proper stance, taking turns, and following directions , all while staying active and having fun! We love seeing our students build teamwork, confidence, and healthy habits through movement and play. Great job, Mr Bricker and 3rd grade!

The IBHS jazz band, choir, and concert band sounded FANTASTIC tonight at their concert! Our students and directors are so talented! Great job tonight! As part of Graduation practice today, the Class of 2026 walked the hallways of the elementary school, middle school, and high school. A big thank you the students, teachers, and administrators for taking time out of their busy day to line the halls, make signs, and congratulate the seniors! #ibtigerpride

🎶🎤 What a wonderful evening at our 5th Grade Band & Choir Concert, the final concert of the school year & elementary school for these amazing students! We are incredibly proud of the tremendous growth our students have shown since their very first concert this past fall. Their hard work, dedication, confidence, and musical talents were truly on display throughout the performance. 🎵 Thank you to our students, families, and teachers for all of your support and making this a night to remember!

🌊🐠 Our K–1 Ocean Unit Open House was a huge success! Families and community members were welcomed into IBES to explore the incredible learning and creativity of our students. Guests enjoyed viewing students’ ocean-themed writing pieces, portfolios, and artwork while walking through our amazing hallway transformation that truly made everyone feel like they were under the sea! 🌊🐙🐡 We are so proud of the hard work, creativity, and learning our kindergarten and 1st-grade students showcased throughout this unit. Thank you to all of our families and community members who came out to support our young learners! 💙

2nd grade had a great time teaming up with our amazing 8th graders to tie-dye shirts for Field Day! It was a fun afternoon filled with creativity, teamwork, and lots of colorful smiles. Thank you to our 8th graders for helping make this special activity such a memorable experience for our younger Tigers!

Today was the perfect day for our annual and much-loved 4th and 5th Grade Track Meet! Our participants did an outstanding job and had so much fun. We are so proud of their effort, sportsmanship, and positive attitudes! A huge thank you to our many teacher and parent volunteers who helped make the event run so smoothly, as well as our younger students who cheered on the participants and were some of their biggest supporters. It was a wonderful day filled with encouragement, teamwork, and Tiger pride! 🐾

The 2026 Mr. IB contest was a huge success! All of the proceeds from tonight are going to St. Jude, and $1,015 was brought in! Thank you to everybody who came out to support this awesome event put on by the IBHS Student Council.

Today, members of Mr. Stremmel’s chemistry classes took part in the Bradley University Chemistry Contest. 200 kids from area schools competed in a chemistry exam, toured the campus, and watched a chemical demonstration show. Great job students and Mr. Stremmel! #ibtigerpride

Senior Field Day 2026! Thank you to Mrs. Strantz and Ms. Robison for organized a full-filled afternoon with lunch and activities for the class of 2026!

Today we celebrated our final Tiger Tales Pizza Party of the school year! Congratulations to our winning homerooms Mr. Graham’s 5th grade class and Mrs. Edwards’ 2nd grade class, for having the most students meet their monthly reading goals! 🎉🐯 We are so proud of all of our students for their hard work, growth, and continued love of reading throughout the year. Congratulations to the Sterling Merrit award winners who were recognized tonight at the awards banquet! The five members from IBHS were Lauren Bailey, Chloe Eeten, Sophia Gordon, McKenzie Nutter, and Mya Vaughn! Also, congratulations to Mya Vaughn who received the Outstanding Student Award!

Our 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade students did a phenomenal job today at the Peoria County Celebration of the Arts at the Peoria Riverfront Museum! We are incredibly proud of the way our students represented Illini Bluffs through both their artistic talents and performance. A special thank you to Mrs. Harmon for showcasing our students’ amazing artwork and to Mr. Geiger for preparing the students for their performance. Today was a great example of the talent, creativity, and hard work of our students and staff. #ibtigerpride
