I would like to congratulate three of our administrators recently selected as recipients of the James V. and Dorothy B. Moon Scholarship through the Illinois Association of School Administrators. The Moon Scholarship was established by the late Dr. James V. Moon, a distinguished educator and superintendent in Illinois. The purpose of the scholarship is to provide grants to assist individuals in the pursuit of graduate study leading to improved competency in the superintendency. Dimitri Almasi - Middle School Principal, Keith Brown - High School Principal, and Cody Martzluf - Chief School Business Official, received 3 of the 8 scholarships available statewide. Mr. Almasi and Mr. Brown have both completed a superintendent endorsement program and Mr. Martzluf will be finishing up this May. All three are pursuing their doctorate degrees in educational leadership.
