On Saturday, January 15, 2022, an art show was held in conjunction with the ICAC Boys Basketball Tournament hosted at Illini Bluffs High School. Schools from the ICAC submitted student artwork to display throughout the day on Saturday. The well attended event, held in the IBHS library, highlighted the tremendous artistic talent of ICAC students, as well as the importance of arts education. A special thanks to IBHS art teacher, Tyler Hallstrom, for coordinating the event and setting up the display of student art pieces.
The ICAC includes Illini Bluffs, Brimfield, ROWVA-Williamsfield, Peoria Heights, Elmwood, Delavan, North Fulton, and Peoria Christian high schools.
IBHS Athletic/Activities Director, Stephen Schafer, who spearheaded the idea, said the art show was a huge success and that the conference hopes to continue to expand the art show next year.
