At the January meeting, the Illini Bluffs #327 school board unanimously approved hiring Mrs. Kandy Rudd as the next Director of Transportation. Kandy will begin her new role on July 1. She replaces Mr. Jim Mohn, who will be helping her with the transition before he officially retires in October.
Kandy has been a member of the district’s transportation staff for nearly 26 years. In her current role, Kandy helps manage the day-to-day operations of the transportation department including coordinating the district’s 12 regular bus routes and 3 special education bus routes. She has been instrumental in ensuring our students are safely transported to and from school every day. Kandy resides in the IB school district with her husband Donald.
