There were approximately 20 dozen donuts not picked up last night from the lake Camelot clubhouse. If your student sold donuts please pick up your order from the elementary office no later than tomorrow (11/19) at 2:45 PM.
I am SO proud of our students and their willingness to act with such kindness this week! We have raised a great deal of money, and jello/pudding boxes for the IB Christmas Hope Fund. Tomorrow is IBES last day to take collections. If your family is able to and has not already please join in the "Spirit of Giving" to help our local community during the holiday season! This is such a great opportunity to teach our students the importance of acting with kindness!

What's the IBHS Canned Food Drive without a little friendly competition? Which Community Hour team CAN do the most good? Donations are starting to pile up, but we have a long way to go!
The deadline to sign up for an IB Christmas Hope food basket is November 19th. If you or someone you know is in need, visit www.ibchristmashope.com to sign up anonymously.
Monetary donations are tax deductible and can be made through the IB Christmas Hope website, by mail at PO Box 123, Glasford, IL 61533, at either Glasford State Bank location, or by supporting our students' efforts here at school.
Fall Party SIP day and sugar overload did not stop the IBES staff from sharing and collaborating with one another. Staff shared great ideas for academic stations. #ibtigerpride

The IBES 2nd graders did an outstanding job on their "Build a Laptop" project. Mrs. Saunder's computer class worked hard to designed their own keyboard, website, chose their computer applications and glue in the appropriate hardware #ibtigerpride

The IBES library is not only for reading, today the students were learning about the importance of paying attention with their eyes and ears, and that mistake are important for success! It is a great day to be a IBES Tiger! #ibtigerpride
Tomorrow, Friday (9/3), district faculty and staff will be participating in school safety training. Our office managers play an integral role in our school safety efforts and will be a part of this training. As a result, the school offices will be closed tomorrow. #ibtigerpride

May 6, 2021 Power Update - Power has been restored.
Good morning IB families,
We are aware of a power outage in the town of Glasford which includes the school complex. Ameren has informed us that they hope to have the power restored by 8:15am. We are holding school as usual and will notify you if something changes. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
