The Weather may have delayed the full scale emergency response drill scheduled for today. However, the rain did not prevent an opportunity for IBHS students to learn more about these fields and the vital role these services play in our communities.
We appreciate representatives from Logan-Trivoli FPD, Timber-Hollis FPD, AMT, and Life Flight spending time with high school students this afternoon.
High school students can actually earn their ERS, EMT, CNA and many other certifications during their time at Illini Bluffs - and generally the entire cost of these programs is covered by the school and/or our local Education For Employment region (EFE320). Interested students should visit the high school office to learn more.
Logan-Trivoli, Timber-Hollis, and other fire protection districts operate entirely with a volunteer force. Please consider serving your community by volunteering - to find out more contact the fire districts directly or contact the high school office and we can help connect you.
