IBES Parent Teacher Organization
The IBES PTO is an organization that supports the teachers, students and programs of IBES. Every parent at IBES is a member of the PTO and without the help of our parents, PTO activities would not be possible. Each year, PTO establishes a budget and does fundraising activities to support a variety of classroom projects, family events and teacher needs. Some of the things PTO supports are family reading night, school carnival, field trips, earth day activities, family game night, ISAT treat bags, teacher appreciation luncheon, Santa Shop, mascot folders, picture person and much, much more. Meetings are held once a month on the last Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm in the IBES Library. During the meetings feedback is gathered on how to spend PTO funds and planning is done for upcoming PTO activities. Each PTO activities has a chairperson in charge and volunteers are always needed to help. PTO asks parents to fill out a volunteer form at Open House in the fall and the names of volunteers are given to the chairperson for each activities to contact when there is a need. We hope you will support PTO this year with your time, input and/or financial support.
